An order is sent to the supplier's ERP system the second a product is logged as sold on a retailer's ecommerce channel. Steps such as having to first enter the order manually in the retailer's back office system, are no longer necessary. This makes the order processing more efficient, as stock information stays updated at the supplier's end as well. The final order can then be sent from business to business or directly to a consumer's home via drop shipping.
